One Life Changed Dramatically

The film Being There has some brilliant acting from multiple people all around. In Being There, the character of Chauncey Gardiner, a.k.a Chance the Gardner (Pete Sellers) ends up starting all over after the death of his employer. The viewer is getting a glimpse into Chance’s persona when a coworker tells him of his employer’s passing. The fact that he has never ventured outside of his employer’s home is the least of his challenges when he is told by some lawyers handling his estate that he has to move out of his employer’s home by the next day. The viewer is left wondering how things are going to go for Chance until he is unexpectedly hit by a car with Eve Rand (Shirley Maclaine) and owned by her husband wealthy businessman Ben Rand. There are multiple brilliant acting performances all around yet I have to admit that I thought the acting portrayal of Eve Rand was very moving/heartfelt because of the hospitality she showed to who she mistakes for Chauncey Gardiner (Chance the Gardener) while dealing with the emotions she has while coping with the situation involving her husband Ben Rand who even with her misgivings she clearly loves. Regardless of how I may be perceived for writing this, I do believe that a person can learn more about the world around them/become wiser regardless of their age, it just may take more effort from some compared to others depending on the type of life a person is living and the environment they voluntarily choose to reside in. However, I was surprised to see Eve Rand react that way she did around Ben Rand only because it is common knowledge both many men and women romantically crave someone who is somewhat at least on the same level of intelligence or greater, the same level of being intuitive andor greater andor the same level of self-confidence or greater self confidence as them. I understand how abrasive this may sound, it is just that I had to give a disclaimer to others to imply the level of an open mind a person must keep to watching this. Even to this day, many mainstream articles (even from spiritual sources andor even from respected andor prestigious sources) preface the type of job andor socio-economic status a person has in order to imply the worthiness of the article. I am complain free while saying this, I’m just implying the way of the beast common knowledge wise.  Chauncey Gardiner becomes very popular, has an esteemed reputation in even the high society circles of the Washington D.C. area and not one person is able to dig up anything juicy about his past. Even a male employee connected to the Washington Post tries to dig up something gossip-worthy for mainstream fame yet he causes a female employee to quit when he presses for her to do it and she tried to make it clear that trying to dig up any history on Chauncey Gardiner is in vain. The Washington Post reporter felt compelled to dig up some info after noticing Chauncey Gardiner’s reputation bringing him fame after the President (Jack Warden) quotes him in a speech. The only man who seems to know the truth about Chauncey Gardiner is Dr. Robert Allenby (Richard Dysart). However, Dr. Allenby holds back from telling his employer Ben Rand the truth in order to protect Rand’s morale and high spirits. The end of the movie ruthlessly skewers politics by the way a group of men have a discussion around politics and how this ties into the main character (played by Peter Sellers). Even I know to be very careful what online andor offline sources(such as television) that I comment on andor share yet fortunately it is because of both knowledge gleaned from my undergraduate college years and my interest in public relations/advertising trends that help inform my discernment. For these reasons alone, I strive to avoid judging others who are still learning discernment even as I am guilty of playing along with some of the online sources that I’m aware are targeted to me for certain reasons. I refrain from saying more as a woman such as myself has to keep some secrets as to how to tell which online andor offline sources that are worth me looking at and which ones are better left for others.

Unique Dance/Electronic Love Song

I admit that it was an easy choice for me to listen to and buy this song that is Wolves by Selena Gomez & Marshmello as a nod/tribute to my sweet husband who has a celebrity crush on Selena Gomez. We both recently watched the music video to this song together on youtube and he did enjoy the video. The Wolves song is actually very romantic and basically expresses a musical story of the lengths that someone would go through just for someone they intensely love. I am guessing the song lyric imagery of even having to go through wolves for the person you romantically love metaphorically means even willing to expose/immerse yourself to some sort of danger/dangers just for a person you romantically love.

Intoxicating Club Love Song

I actually first heard a variation of this tuneful song that is Uh Ooh (Remix) by Lumidee feat. Busta Rhymes & Fabulous) on a music collection called Universal Smash Hits 2 in 2003. I enjoy this exciting love song because it is basically a song about a woman who stands by her man through various times in life. She is basically making it clear to the love of her life(husband, lover you pretty much get the picture etc.) that she is pretty much there to stay as long as he wants her in his life.

Pleasant Classic Rock Love Song

I admit that I actually only find out about this compelling song that is Witchy Woman by the Eagles around the Spring of 2012 after first hearing this moving/brilliant story type of song on a music collection titled The Very Best of Eagles. Even with the title of Witchy Woman, I take this song to be more about a woman who is maybe the female version of a womanizer that can charm many men and pulls them in more by her charm andor charisma. However, I am guessing that this song could also symbolize a musical story of a woman who is a heartbreaker/ modern day player with great beauty mainstream society ideal wise andor a woman who falls outside of mainstream beauty ideals yet is aware of how to use her energy andor power to romantically captivate.

Educative and Motivational

I admit that my interest in obtaining Kid’s Baking Championship Season 2 emerged less than 24 hours after ordering Top Chef Jr. Season 1. Kid’s Baking Championship Season 2 opens with some very self confident and enthusiastic kids baking different cakes to go along with the ice creams for the judges to taste. I also like how the ingredients were put in a way in the first episode to give a person an idea on how they can at least come close to making a similar cake at home. I intend to watch the remaining episodes of this season of Kid’s Baking Championship Season 2 by January 1 2018 or sooner and I intend to give an update by then.

Intention Factor Element

This kindlebook of The Law of Distraction & Art of Intention by Tamara Dorris caught my attention .This kindlebook does give illuminating information on why being in close proximity to hearing other’s good fortune andor even seeing stories of it can be powerful factors of the positive blessings/happy preview of what can be coming into your life. Information is shared on why it is helpful to pair faith with intent, why forgiving others is very important in manifestation (an area that I admit I am in the process of improving/healing), how what you see in others positive or negative actually hides a reflection within yourself, how volunteering can both help you feel good and how that is tied into manifestation, and more. The only caveat is that this kindlebook must be looked at more as complementary to other law of attraction sources, a gateway to other law of attraction portals so to speak. However in defense of the author, they do give a good extensive list of different law of attraction resources to look at towards the end of the kindlebook.

I am happy for MacKenzie that it worked out for her and that she is an acclaimed writer. For some women, I do believe that they are following their destiny whether consciously or unconsciously when it comes to the decision of keeping their careers to follow their husband. However, I Stella Carrier intuitively and logically know that it is in my destiny to be a career woman for the rest of my current lifetime even after my husband becomes a millionaire. Yes, I have even supported him regardless of the income he makes as during the years of February 2009 until June 2013 I was the  breadwinner as he has also stood by me. Both of us had similar incomes from April 2014 until December 2015 which made him the breadwinner again from January 2016. Around this August 2017, 15 years after we met, our after tax incomes shifted to where on a positive note I became a positive financial contributor but I know that I must wisely plot/plan my future career/money moves if I want to continue making at least just as much or more by June 2017. I must make it clear as I am intuitively aware that both men and even women from various backgrounds may be prone to assuming certain things because of my personality demeanor,mixed race and physical appearance. I also am aware that it is wise to avoid judging people who met their spouses andor lovers on the job. However, yes my husband Rusty Ridler and I were both on active duty navy when we met in the Yokosuka Japan naval base around August 2002. However, I unexpectedly met him by chance at a club for enlisted sailors called the “A” club in August 2002 when I was stationed on a destroyer class ship the USS O’Brien and he was stationed on an aircraft carrier the USS Kitty Hawk. Eerily we started to connect and talk because I was on shore patrol in one of my white naval uniforms that showed I was a surface storekeeper (I was already in the naval paygrade of an E-4 when we met-I made at least 1800 American dollars a month after taxes by this time)as he started out being an aviation storekeeper (he was already in the naval paygrade of an E-5 which was kind of how we started to talk as he asked me about being the type of storekeeper that I was explaining that he was an aviation storekeeper). My husband and I were actually supposed to originally get together to  help each other study in areas pertaining to our supply jobs and yet the rest is fortunately positive history. Rather, I am keeping this link due to my interest in amazon and my interest in writing stemming from the encouraging remark I got from my late adoptive father around the time I was between 11 to 13 years old even before I became valedictorian in 8^th grade. My late adoptive father recently passed away in July 2017. I do believe that if my late adoptive mother was still alive as well she would have probably backed up my interest in writing as she noticed that I liked to read a lot around the time I was 8 years old as a child and would even  tease me about it sometimes (she passed away in 2002). Congrats to both MacKenzie’s writing career and her long marriage to Jeff Bezos. May they both continue to have many more prosperous years and a long lasting/thriving marriage.
